A place called heaven  / Amy Lou (baby cousin to an angel )

Hywel,
         my mammy told me all about u...She told me that I've got a very special cousin who's an angel. She said that we can't come and visit you yet, as you live in a place called heaven. Apparently, it's a long long way to heaven and it could take a while to get there. She said that there is a place we can go where you sometimes play and it is called 'Hywel's garden'. I've heard that you like flowers in your garden and soon we will fetch you some.

Even though I never knew you, my mammy says that if you've been touched by an angel, u will remember forever. Maybe, wen i'm a little older, I will understand what she meant. She also reckons that on some days my cousin Tegan (ur baby sis) looks just like you.

Hope heaven is fun...according to my mammy...heaven is in the sky and it is where you watch over us all, making sure that we stay safe. Thats right, she called you our very own guardian angel.

I will come to visit your garden soon with my mam. Hopefully you will be playing there, just like my mammy said.  If not, as I know you are busy, playing and watching over all the family, I will leave some flowers with a note attached, just to let u know that I was there.

Missing you.  / Auntie Claire (Auntie)

To my precious nephew, Hywel,
                                               I came here yesterday, tried really hard to write you a message, but I am sorry, i couldn't. Instead, I sat and read many of the beautiful tributes that people have paid to you.

I've got so much that I want to say to you but I find it so difficult to write it down, as its just like having a 'smack in the face' and a reminder that your not here with your family as u should be. But, I promised myself that I would write a message to you and as we are about to start a whole new year, I just wanted to let you know that you are still very much in our hearts and thoughts.

I bet you look just like ur dad, with ur mammy's big brown eyes. Everyday, i wonder what colour hair you got and what you would be doing if you was here with us. U are almost 2 now, bet you'd be walking and curious about anything and everything. I sit and imagine ur mammy fussing over you....we always talked about u wearing jeans and boots and ur mammy spiking ur hair..just like a proper little boy. I'd give anything just for one day like that. One day with you here, but, the trouble is, we'd always want that little bit more and we'd never be able to give u back to heaven. Instead, u are waiting for us and one day we will be with u again, promise, then we will have forever together.

I love you more than words can say, more than what i will ever be able to write down. U know, that you are in my thoughts every single day. Just wanted to let you know that I am so proud and priveleged to be able to say that you are MY NEPHEW. I've also got the ultimate honour of being your only auntie. For now, hope u are having fun, playing with your angel friends. I've sent a kiss up to heaven for you....make sure u catch it.
